The Barnstone is an exquisitely renovated 125 year old classic Ohio Barn located on 50 acres,
in the heart of Wayne County, just outside of Wooster, Ohio.
About The Barnstone
The Barnstone is the perfect setting for up to 175 guests for your memorable wedding day! We offer many unique features at a very reasonable price that sets us apart from other Barns in Ohio, and the Midwest.
The Barnstone is celebrating its 10th year in operation as a destination venue for weddings and unique events in NE Ohio. The generational family owners for over 60 years, three brothers and their sister, have created a spectacular location for your special event. The Barnstone, open from May–October, has hosted over 135 successful weddings and receptions (see reviews below) and a multitude of memorable parties including high school graduations and reunions, anniversaries and bridal showers since 2016. We continue to update and modernize our beautiful property to meet the changing needs of our clientele, while maintaining the original integrity of an authentic, century barn and the true farm culture of the property.

- The Barn - includes setup of Barnstone provided tables and chairs for up to 175 guests.
- The Carriage House - charming bar area for cocktails & appetizers.
- Greenspace - expansive open space set up for the wedding ceremony under the grand oak trees, includes choice of arch.
- The Bridal Suite - sweet space in the Summerhouse dedicated to the bride and her team to get ready.
- The Groomsmen Quarters - handsomely renovated chicken house for the guys.
- Deck - attached to the Barnstone for dining set ups, and great sunset views.
- Bathrooms - built new in 2017.
- Large parking lot - available for all the guests with an attendant; dedicated handicap parking spaces.

With all these great features… we also want to mention the beautifully landscaped lawns with the seasonal blooming flower beds, huge shade trees, backdrop of cornfields and endless sky views provide a gorgeous venue for your event, and amazing photo opportunities.

The Barnstone was amazing! My husband and I had a specific date we were wanting which fell on a Sunday. The Barnstone was booked for the Friday and Saturday before, however, they let us do a rehearsal on Thursday and made sure the venue was ready Sunday morning to set up! The Barnstone was the perfect venue for our wedding on June 1st. Doug and Kim were both incredibly helpful with set up, recommendations, and any other small details. We got so many complements from our guests, and everyone had a great time!
I loved everything about my wedding day and location played a HUGE part in that. The day before I spent my day setting up and everything went so smooth, it was great, which made me feel at ease on the big day. The outside landscape and barn just being there make the whole atmosphere making adding wedding décor easy and not stressful. I had an image in my mind of what I wanted my wedding to be and this place made it happen.
